Cheer Intensity All-Star Cheerleading Booster Club

Below is an overview of the Club and its intentions for the 2009 - 2010 season.

iconWhat is the Booster Club?

Cheer Intensity All-Stars Booster Club is an organization that consists of parents and legal guardians of cheerleaders.

The club was organized to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist the interest of Cheer Intensity All-Star Members who participate in cheerleading.

The cheerleading squad is open to boys and girls ages 3 and older on a non-sectarian basis. It is our hope that along with the skill they learn, they will find friendship, role models, and mentors. This is done in a team environment that encourages self motivation, confidence, and respect for one self and others.

The organization pursues Corporate Sponsors, along with varies fundraisers. Some of the fundraisers are selling candy bars, holiday wreaths, and make your own pizza kits. These funds are used to help offset the cost of national sport competition.

iconHow do I become a member, and what are my responsibilities?

Parents, guardians, and team members 18 years and older may become members when their child is selected to a team  are encouraged to join as well as suggest ideas and volunteer to run a fundraiser.

iconAre there costs involved with becoming a member of the CIA Booster Club?

Renwal membership is $10 per cheerleader and $15 per family of 2 or more cheerleaders. There is an annual membership fee of $25 per cheerleader or $30 per family of 2 or more cheerleaders that are new to the program. iconWhat does the CIA Booster Club offer?

The Booster Club will offer monthly fundraisers that sell a product or service such as cookie dough, pizza, car washes, and coin drops.  A deadline and delivery date will be posted for each fundraiser.  Orders must be handed in to the fundraising coordinator by this date.  No deadlines will be extended. You must volunteer for, or be present during this type of event in order to collect the proceeds.

iconWhere do the proceeds go?

Monies earned by fundraising will be credited to an account set up in the cheerleader's name.  The Booster Club will manage these accounts.  This money can be withdrawn and applied towards CIA costs by filling out a request form.

iconHow is the fundraising information distributed?

At any time a parent may request a balance of the account.  The balance amount will either be emailed to you or mailed (if no email address is on file) within 3 business days.

iconWhy Fundraise?

Fundraising proceeds can greatly offset the costs of competitive cheerleading.

iconWhat happens if there is money left in my account after the season is over?

If you have money left in your account at the end of the season and your child intends to cheer again the following year, the money can remain in the account to get a jumpstart on the upcoming cheer season.  However, if your child decides not to cheer next season and there is a balance in the account, it will not be reimbursed.  Please make every effort to utilize your money throughout the year.  Additionally, if your child leaves at any time during the season, leaves a balance in the account, and decides to come back at a later date, the balance will NOT be available.
