2010-2011 TRYOUT RESULTS

Congratulations to everyone who tried out this past week to become a part of one of the amazing 10-11 Cheer Intensity All-Stars competitive cheer teams. We are so impressed with the talent and can’t wait for the new season to begin!!


Tiny Tots Level 1- Elephants

Senior Level 1 & Level 2
Senior 1 and Senior 2 will practice at the same time over the summer. Final evaluations will be made on 8/2. Senior 1 cheerleaders will have the opportunity to continue to work on their back handspring to earn a spot on Senior 2. Senior 2 cheerleaders will be expected to show consistency with their tumbling skills to secure their spot on the team.

   - Ages 4 - 8 (without a back handspring)

May 27th - Ages 13 & Older (6-8pm)
              - Ages 18+ & I-5 (8-9pm)
 
                         (Age as of August 31st 2010)
 
 
BRING:
       1. Forms Signed (available online or at tryouts)

      2.   $25 Tryout Fee & $50 Registration/Insurance Fee
                 - Your tryout fee is waived if you bring a new friend
      3.   Copy of Birth Certificate (unless we already have one on file)
                 - You can bring it to tryouts or by 1st practice in June
 
 
WEAR:
-         T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers (change into sneakers at gym)
-         Hair in ponytail
-         No jewelry
 
 
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Come to the gym on your specified day. It is an Open Tryout so you may come anytime during your specified time frame. You will sign-up at the registration table upon arrival.  The tryout is done in stations. You will first stretch, then learn a basic cheer. You may take as much time as you like to practice it. You will then go to 4 stations where you will be evaluated. The stations are jumps, stunting, standing and running tumbling, and cheer. Once you have been to each station, you are done. If you are trying out for the Intensity Extreme Team, you must go to station 5 which is a brief interview.
 
 
PLACEMENT:
You will be placed on a team based on your age, skills, potential, attitude, and the needs of each team. Everyone makes a team! Team placements will be posted (by number) on our website on or before 5/29. Team practice will begin the week of June 1st.
